Description

Crikey! I was born on 22 December 2021, and my sister Scarlett was born the day before on the 21st so that made her the bigger sister in age and size. I’m a little shy like our dad, Nima, whereas my sister has a big personality like our mum, Mohini. We were mum and dad’s first cubs and the first ever red panda cubs to be born at Australia Zoo which makes us very special indeed.

We spent the first few months living in our cosy nest with mum and drinking lots of her milk whilst huddled up together, but now I prefer to live alone and have the whole habitat to myself. My favourite food is grapes, they’re delicious!

All of my energy is used in climbing massive fig trees in my habitat and I enjoy keeping my keeper friends on their toes by jumping out of the nest whenever they walk by!

Most of the inclusions in your adoption pack are online, meaning that your adoption is not only helping one of our animals, but the environment too!
All animal adoptions are a single payment and last for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can choose to renew your adoption after this time and continue your support of our animals and wildlife conservation efforts.

Due to health and safety restrictions, saltwater crocodiles are not available for guest encounters; another animal/species will be substituted.
Please note: While all of the animals available for adoption are usually on display at the Zoo and/or participate in encounters, adopting an animal does not guarantee the chance of seeing or meeting them if visiting the Zoo. Animal availability is subject to change; there may be times when animals may be temporarily off display due to unforeseen circumstances, such as veterinary check-ups or enclosure maintenance. If booking one of our amazing animal encounters to meet your adoptee, please advise staff of the animal you adopt at the time of booking.
